Who we are

Academy by MetaPlay (the "Platform") is operated by Metahub Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202201032515 (1478212-K)). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice.

Access is invite-based

Access is currently provided by invitation. Accounts are created for academy owners, their coaches and managers, and for parents or guardians invited by an academy. Account holders must be at least 18 years old. A parent or legal guardian who enrols a child does so on that child's behalf and is responsible for the consent and information they provide.

Roles

The Platform serves Metahub (operator), an Academy (the business using the Platform to run its programmes), its Owner, Managers and Coaches, and Parents or Guardians. Each academy is responsible for how it runs its own programmes and for the accuracy of the information it and its guardians enter.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose, to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other users' data.

No payments through the Platform

The Platform does not collect or process any payment. Payment coupons and records shown in the Platform are for reference only; a payment coupon is a record, not a payment instrument. Fees, payment methods, refunds and cancellations are arranged directly between the guardian and the academy and are governed by that academy's own policies. Metahub is not a party to those payments and does not hold any funds.

Data

Each academy's operational records belong to that academy. Metahub processes personal data as described in the Privacy Notice. You are responsible for having the necessary consent for any personal data you enter about another person, including a child.

Availability and liability

The Platform is provided as is. We work to keep it available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Metahub is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for matters arising from an academy's own conduct, pricing, or programme delivery. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached or where necessary to protect users or the Platform. A guardian may stop using the Platform and request deletion of their and their child's data at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction.
